Dog Park in Leavenworth??

Would you like an off leash dog park in Leavenworth for you and your pets? 

Initial plans have been researched and architectural drawings have been prepared.  A lovely 9-acre centrally located existing city park would be the locale.

What is next?

The Leavenworth City Commission will take up building the dog park as an agenda item on July 15, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at Leavenworth City Hall, 5^th and Shawnee. Enter from the N. doors.

What do you need to do to promote and support the concept? 

Attend this meeting to show your interest in having the park approved by the City.

No city funds will be used for the park.  The initial cost to build a basic park will be will be thru donations and fund raising.

The more citizens in attendance at this meeting the better.  Please show our city commissioners that this would enhance our city for its citizens and their canine friends.
